This Christmas tree ornament is a statement of my deeply held belief that cutting down trees to satisfy nostalgia or Religious beliefs is just plain wrong.
Some may rationalize that there are Christmas tree farms which offset the killing of ancient trees in the wild. These Christmas tree farms supposedly do more good than harm by enabling the planting of vast swaths of land with future Christmas trees.
I disagree.
Christmas tree farms are monocultures with great potential for disease, which succeed only in depleting the soil of valuable nutrients.
This ornament encourages you instead, to buy a tree with a ball and replant it as a gift to the earth.
I realize that this is kinda heavy stuff so many of our Christmas Ornaments are just silly, grinchy & Jewish!
