The notebook is 5X8¾ inch (13 × 21 cm), and ideal for drawing, collaging, journaling, notetaking, etc…
Each page inside the simple chipboard cover is french-folded, and has a faint show-through of the rich color off-set printed on its hidden side.
There are nine pages for each of the colors in the spectrum. All of the pages are perforated on the fore-edge and reveal their vibrant core when pulled apart. The entire rainbow shows as strata on the spine and edges of the book. A small hole die-cut through the entire notebook allows the user to see “the truth over the rainbow.”
The sumptuous colors have the potential to inspire and inform the work within, but were carefully chosen to be light enough to allow for writing. The book is a tactile experience, more interactive than traditional sketchbooks. It will both contain and galvanize work.
