The design for this limited edition print “Branches” was inspired by a nighttime back packing trip in snowy mountains. What a surreal experience… the snow and tree trunks almost glowing and the dark, dark blue and starry sky. Crisp and calm.
This piece is printed on handmade ultra-thick 5×7" paper designed evoke the texture and reflective quality of snow. A vintage letterpress was used to blind deboss the paths and print the branches and limbs.
