This little purse is a fun alternative to the classic tote bag, yet has just as much room for all your junk. The folk art cotton fabric is vintage, picked up a few years ago in a great fabric store in my hometown. The small half-circle at the middle of the purse, as well as the tabs, are made of high quality cotton denim. Notice the contrast top-stitching on the denim half-circle, a nice little detail to tie in with the printed fabric. The purse is fully lined in a white rayon with green polka dots.
The folk art fabric was calling out for me to make a little stuffed person charm to go with this purse. The charm is reversible, with a lady on one side and a man on the other. The charm can be removed if you want to switch it up with something else, which can then easily attach with the jumbo lobster clasp.
Lastly, this purse features two small pockets integrated into the inside of the purse. Perfect for stashing your metro/bus passes, sunglasses, lip glosses, or whatever the heck else you want to keep close!
