One of a kind Van Dyke Brown print of a 19th century sailing ship, from a digital image by 3D artist RJ Kikuchiyo, on hand torn bright white Rives BFK 300 gsm paper by Matt Shapoff. 5" square (12.7cm).
Combining a 19th century silver based photographic printing process with modern design, Matt creates his solar generated Van Dyke brown prints on acid-free fine art paper, at his indoor/outdoor studio on Peconic Bay. This print is a unique exposure from a digital negative. Van Dyke brown prints are created by exposing photosensitized paper in the sun.
Signed by the artist and blind embossed with logo on a 1895 Pearl letterpress. Ready for mounting in the frame of your choice. Shipped in a protective cello envelope with a product information card about Van Dyke brown prints.
