About
This soul searching monkey is slip cast from a vintage mold using a buff colored stoneware clay instead of porcelain to give him a beautiful aged look. He is then covered in a fantastic Peking Turquoise Blue clear crackle glaze that is absolutely stunning. To finish him off, I rub black india ink into the crackling to really bring out the beautiful glaze. You won’t be disappointed with this pensive primate perched among your plants, your favorite books or just sitting on a ledge. He arrives in a beautiful natural box tied with twine and cushioned in lovely nesting material, perfect for gift giving.
