About
In 1995 I made 500 optimism buttons as part of a college art project.
Between 1995 and 2009 I made 10,000 optimism buttons.
In 2009, in collaboration with New York’s MTA Arts for Transit,
the optimism logo now appears on the reverse of 14,000,000 Metrocards
(NYC’s transit pass) as public art.
Read more about the project in The New York Times.
In celebration of the optimism Metrocard, and the 15th anniversary of the project, I have produced 500 limited-edition 24-carat gold electroplate optimism buttons.
1 inch, 2.5 centimeters each
You will receive two buttons.
Made in USA.

Good job on the OPTIMISM buttons.
