At checkout, Supermarket customers pay you the full amount of their order directly, via PayPal.
Our commission is based on a percentage of your sales. This percentage does not include what you charge customers for shipping. For commission details, see your Supermarket dashboard (login required).
No. Instead of charging you a commission every time you make a sale, we leave you alone to make sales, get paid, and make your customers happy for 30 days at a time.
At the end of each 30 day period, we calculate our commission for the sales you've made that month and charge it to your credit card. Of course, we also send you a full record of all your sales so you can be certain the numbers make sense. On your credit card statement, the charge will come from "Shop Curated, Inc."
No, you can’t. When we charge our commission, we’re collecting it for sales that have already happened. That being the case, we need a way to charge our commission that doesn’t require us to send invoices and then figure out who has paid and who hasn’t.
But in order to “charge” sellers via PayPal, as opposed to sending them an invoice, we’d have to ask sellers to give us permission to auto-deduct funds directly from their account. We’re not comfortable with that solution and don’t think sellers would be too keen on it either.
