New Print to Benefit Alzheimer's Association

The Block Island print, from JHill Design’s “Places I Have Never Been” series, was created with Alzheimer’s awareness in mind. The drawing represents an imaginary vacation to Block Island, Rhode Island to see the birds resting on the Atlantic fly away, to eat some homemade scones and to ride a bicycle along the beach.
Jennifer Hill, owner of JHill Design and designer behind “Places I Have Never Been” has a personal connection to Alzheimer’s. In 2001 her father, David Hill, was diagnosed with Early-Onset Alzheimer’s at the age of 49. David, an avid traveler himself, was proactive and thoroughly optimistic in his fight against the disease, participating in clinical trials and studies. He succumbed to the illness in 2005 at the age of 54. David loved his trip to Block Island and the drawing is Jennifer’s imagination of what they would have done together if she could have joined him on his trip.
$10 from the sale of this print will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association.
