El Dot is a bamboo product design firm dedicated to cultivating a positive approach toward our environment and its inhabitants.
We started as a small, Los Angeles based studio in 2003 with founders, Lishu and Leonardo Rodriguez, both environmental artists and designers. Originally from Nepal and Venezuela, our interests and inspirations vary from the ingenuity and wisdom of indigenous cultures to technology and the potential of global commerce.
Our focus is on the mindful design of handcrafted furniture made from renewable and chemical free materials. We guarantee sustainable production of our collections, ensuring responsible use of renewable resources, fair treatment of our craftsmen, and delivery of an enduring heritage product.
