We owe a heap to the harp of old. It gave us a feeling down deep in our bones—a feeling that reached the soul, and became known as the “American” sound. Where’d that feeling go? If you just don’t know, my Shop Collections will show that, in fact, you can get it back. That’s right, a new kind of harmonica is blowin’ through—one made useful by me, for U S B.
WHO AM I?
I set out to fit my life’s work in a harmonica box—FlashHarp® is the result. A crossover between poetry and product, FlashHarp is handmade by me in Riverside, Illinois, a National Historic Landmark village. Gizmodo calls it, “4GBs of musical goodness.” Indie Artists Alliance calls FlashHarp, “one of the coolest inventions that we have ever seen combining music and technology.” Buyers say “Unique product, perfect gift for a music lover!” “Made my shopping easier and adds a fun, bluegrass side to my boyfriend’s musical talents.” “The video instruction was so easy to watch and learn.” “Dad loves it!”
Tips and press links follow…
USINGTHEFLASHHARP IS EASY:
1) Remove USB cap first when taking FlashHarp out of the box so the cap won’t be pulled off as the box halves separate.
2) FlashHarp works like any other flash drive and plays like any other harmonica. Save the “Five Basic Steps” video to your computer’s hard drive, then remove FlashHarp to play along. (Playing your FlashHarp while it’s plugged into your computer is not recommended and serves no purpose since it has no mic.)
3) The Musical Combo product includes a FlashHarp and the full-sized “Plug ’n Play” 10-hole harmonica. (It’s easy to play single notes on a FlashHarp, once you’ve learned; the Plug ‘n Play’s larger holes just make learning single-note technique easier).
