Tom has worked as a graphic designer, design educator and mixed media artist. He is the founder of studiotwentysix2 — an independent multi-disciplined design and fine art studio that offers an eclectic mix of client-based design, concept-driven paintings, limited edition prints, posters and note cards. He received a Master of Fine Art in Visual Communication from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and has taught art and design at the university level for several years.

Tom’s design work has appeared in Communication Arts, HOW and Computer Arts Projects. His fine art work has been included in group shows from New York and Chicago, to the Palace of Culture in Sofia, Bulgaria. Tom regularly speaks and writes about graphic design, his thoughts on education, and his approach to integrating digital media and handmade processes.
