-the daughter of three generations of professional fine artists (her parents met while working at the MOMA)
-the winner of the 2007 FIT Daniel Vosovic Critic’s Award for Current Scene and Eveningwear fashion
-a Returned Peace Corps business volunteer to West Africa
-a former Rotary World Peace Fellow to Japan for grad school
-a lover of horses, scenic views, downhill skiing, Cirque du Soleil, fine arts, yummy ethnic cuisine, cupcakes, live jazz, international travel, graffiti & collage, Indian chai & Thai iced tea, delicious sleep, foreign films & languages, fair trade, philanthropy, artisanry, social entrepreneurship, and anything handmade that is authentic and thus has a story to tell.
