Cristina majored in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Sculpture from the University of Madrid, Spain. After graduation, she worked for a jeweler in Madrid where she learned the art of metal-smithing. She has been in love with it ever since.

Her business is named after and dedicated to her grandmother, Lola.
